Truly dreadful taste! Really had to choke this one down, tasted like bitter acid. Awesome bottle, but don't judge this book by its cover.

First things first: you can't help but notice the outrageous packaging on this product! The thing comes in a CRACK VIAL and you mix the powder with a liquid product, most likely water. The vial even warns you to not snort the powder. Good advice: I'm sure the sugar would burn the nostrils or stick up there.

Taste? It's definitely good, although I can't put my finger on the dominant taste. It's some fruit flavor, very unexpected, but pleasant. Similar to Pixy Stix maybe?

So with the unique novelty of a drink in powdered form comes the whole preparation thing. I suppose you could just slam the powder as is but this doesn't seem optimal or practical. The sugar granules are sometimes clumped together and you have to grind them into a finer powder so they will dissolve. Even then they don't completely dissolve but float in the liquid. I don't have the patience to stir/shake until it all dissolves; I suspect others won't either.

Upon this writing this is the second time I have tried this "drink." I have waited until this time to review because the first time I thought I messed up the ratio of powder to liquid. The result was a weaker drink than I had expected. I tried again, closely adhering to the measurements and came up with the same results. My point is that with Blow you can make the drink stronger or weaker as you so desire as well as making as intended. So pros and cons of the powder form.

This product's packaging is initially what sets it apart from other energy drinks. It is a glass grenade complete grooves and a "pin" to take the cap off. This design has clearly cost the manufacturer, as I paid over $3 for 8 oz. in Manhattan. Compare this to $2-2.50 for some 16 oz. brands!

I went after the most "exotic" of this brand, the Black Currant flavor. The sour smell was strong, but nothing compared to the taste! Similar to a black cherry flavor, this drink is sour, like a melted Warhead candy! Note that this is not necessarily a bad thing if you like this kind of thing. Personally I tend to favor drinks with more pronounced tastes, usually meaning more sugar. So it's a good drink but dang expensive.

Obviously the hype surrounding this drink will interest some energy drinkers to the product - I admit this is what initially brought me to purchase a can. They are now packaging the same drink called "Censored" with apparently the same exact formula, but I have not verified this.

The best thing about the actual product is the smell. There is a somewhat cinnamon aroma wafting from the can which is pleasant. The taste does suffer, however. As the liquid goes down your throat there is a definite *spicyness* that is in the drink, but it doesn't feel like spicy indian food, it feels like acid eating your mouth! There is a harsh aftertaste too where this numbing spicyness will remain. It is truly hard to choke down an entire can of one of these.

The aftereffects in terms of the energy kick are pronounced. I don't know what the heck they put in the drink but I always feel more wired than a usual energy drink - a little off, feeling a little weird.

If a friend is drinking this and you want to have a taste, have a sip. But otherwise skip the product for something better.

In a blind taste test I could probably not tell the difference between this and Sprite. My friend claimed there was a subtle nuance but I wasn't picking up on it. This is the energy drink for you if you're a huge Sprite fan...anyone?

This drink's not that great. Probably getting most of its sales from its Simpsons novelty, the drink falls flat in having no distinct flavor at all. Tastes nothing much more than just the energy blend; reminiscent of Howling Monkey but not as offensive to the ol' taste receptors.

Biker-inspired packaging, kinda cool. The drink tastes most strongly of peach, which is also the lingering aftertaste. It's a robust drink more closely related to Rockstar than with Red Bull.

I'm not huge into the agave flavor; it is a very distinct one which I find has a sharp aftertaste. I've tasted a bunch of drinks now with this particular ingredient. Full Throttle by comparison doesn't seem to have much else in the way of taste other than the agave as the initial flavor to the aftertaste is dominated by it.

Had to choke this one down...tasted like some sort of cheap alcohol with lime. When lime flavors fail in energy drinks, they fail horribly (also avoid the Xtazy lime flavor). Awesome packaging though.

I picked the dragonfruit variety as it was the lesser of three evils in the flavor department - I've had bad taste experiences with lime flavored energy drinks, and I'm not crazy about the agave herb flavor.

The drink is not carbonated which is actually a pleasant change of pace as many energy drinks are. This drink is definitely lighter, in the ways that Vitamin Water drinks have more subdued overall flavors. It's a shame that the flavor of this drink was not good. Tasted very bitter, nasty. Smell also very sharp...synthetic, like the fructose smell.

Wasn't sure what to expect of this product but it did deliver. Very pleasant, if typical, orange taste. Nothing spectacular, so don't go out of your way, but it certainly does nothing wrong. Probably will do very well at Nascar events.

The Jolt series mimics other more well-known sodas. In this case Silver tastes not really like anything, in the same way that Slice and Sprite don't really have a very distinct flavor. Skip this whole brand. Jolt used to be at the forefront of stay-up-all-night drinks, but since Red Bull entered the scene (followed by hundreds of others) Jolt has been left in the dust with an obsolete taste.

I think Scott hit it right on the nose in saying it takes like the blue-razz slurpie. Unlocking this can is a pleasant surprise as there is a loud compression pop with the *resealable* screw-off cap. Taste is good, but a typical blue-raspberry at that, really nothing new but you know what you're going to get.

Wouldn't really buy this again unless I was really hankering for a cherry soda. Tastes exactly like Cherry Coke, easy on the digestive system and no weird aftertaste surprises. After having also tried the Blue Raspberry Jolt variety I have a feeling that the whole Jolt line of products has a very middle-of-the-road approach to tasting like conventional sodas.

Detecting a raspberry smell coming from the can. This is a pretty middle of the road drink, no distinct, NEW tastes popping out to make this a drink worth trying. Corny, garish packaging.

This review regards the sugar free version of this drink. Another Red Bull clone, not to say that's it's a bad drink. I might have detected a slighter sweetness over Red Bull? If you see Bull and this in the store go for the cheaper one.

This is a great drink. It is slightly less sweet than some of the other varieties: Khaos and Assault, but it definitely makes you want to keep drinking more. I definitely appreciate the large 16 oz can also. One of the few drinks where I could stomach buying an entire 24-pack case.

A lot of the Monster Energy drinks taste like liquid candy, and this is a good thing! The Khaos drink claims to be more of an energy juice, basically meaning that it is less carbonated (if at all) than the original. Add to it a healthy size and you'll keep drinking to the last drop. The packaging to me is the only drawback, with nothing drawing my eye if I were a first-time buyer. It does stick with the same branding as the original, and therefore I guess is effective. This is one of my favorite drinks!

A friend bought the Khaos drink while I bought M-80. I was interested to see how different they tasted. The difference in the two drinks are very subtle; we both drank from both and were pressed to detect much of a difference. After checking out the nutritional info on the site the M-80 has more vitamins...so I guess drink this one? I'm a big fan of the Khaos drink and I endorse this also.

Pretty good drink. It claimed to have no aftertaste and it did deliver this. You might not think this is that important until you've tasted a few energy drinks that have noticeably bad aftertastes. This is a pretty good drink, sour lemon-lime flavor.

You can't go wrong with a Red Bull. Red Bull was one of the first drinks on the scene and has since become one of the most popular, to the point where it has become a bar staple. Red Bull has provided an alternative to those needing more of a caffeine rush. Before this drink there was only Mountain Dew and Jolt - pretty bleak.

Since Red Bull's emergence, an insane amount of energy drinks have sprung onto the scene. Some, I have to admit, are better in taste and have a very good chance of trumping the Bull: Rockstar and Monster come to mind immediately; Full Throttle is not as popular, but I still maintain, better. If these brands are available, I'd go with one of those before reaching for a Red Bull. Red Bull also only comes in a smaller "dose" than these other drinks. But that's not to say that Red Bull isn't great by its own merit.

This sugar-free alternative to the great-tasting original sacrifices some in the taste department in favor of lessening the eventual sugar-crash. One doesn't really NEED sugar after all with all those uppers already in there.

Great, full taste! Very very sweet (those reading my reviews will know I'm a big fan of that!) If I had to pinpoint it, maybe some sort of raspberry? But it's really it's own thing. Very tasty, had no trouble downing the whole thing.

I was blown away by this as I had never even heard of this drink and have not seen it since...a very obscure drink, maybe it's on it's way up. Definitely check this one out if you can find it!

Rehab comes in a very sleek, clean can reminiscent of something you'd find at a hospital. Add the Rx logo and the label which claims it is a "recovery supplement" and you have an effective brand. The drink is not as carbonated as other energy drinks I have tried, but it cooled off a bit in my bag and might have been the reason. The drink tasted like cherries, and there was a faint odor of something that I couldn't put my finger on, almost like the smell of a brew for lack of a better comparison. The aftertaste didn't linger too much. Overall this is a decent drink that is not intensely sweet but more subtle. I personally probably wouldn't pick up another since I prefer sweeter drinks.

I am definitely interested in trying the other varieties, so you could say that I would be a repeat buyer. Good taste, it definitely has a stronger aftertaste, a lingering bit of bitterness which sounds bad but it's probably one of the ingredients coming through the mix.
